Dear students, parents & teachers,

The following matter need to be reported to you:

* In the 3 rd Overseas Chinese Students Chinese Culture Knowledge Competition, 39 students of our school registered and 38 attended, 5 of them won high distinction result, 17 students passed.It is a quite good achievement, due to the questions are hard than last competition. All of them will get gifts and the students got high distinction will be awarded dictionary.

* Our student Marilyn Oxlade won 2 nd prize on Australian Chinese "You got talent" Competition by her wonderful dancing, she has been awarded $1000. We hope more students to join this competition next year.

* We have many students joined Reciting Chinese competition this year. We won 3 rd group prize in 13-15 years group A by Hailan Wang, Georgiana Ma, Christine Wei, Jessica Hung, Emily Hung and Angelina Ma. The student Alex Li won 3 rd personal prize in 7-9 years group J. Congratulations to them.

* Our school prepare to organize a competition of speak in Chinese in September this year. It can improve students' ability in writing, speaking and thinking. We hope parents to encourage students to join this competition.

* Winter camp of this year will go to Hubei province of China, the period is from 20 Dec. 2012 to 16 Jan. 2013, Age requirement is from 12 to 18 years old. More details is available by request to school.

The last week of this term is 30 June and 1 July, next term will start on 21 July.
