Sydney Elite Chinese School Incorporated is an after hours and weekend community language school in Sydney Australia, founded in 2000 and registered in the Department of Education and Training of New South Wales. There are three campuses at Granville Public School , Wentworth Point Public School and Wentworth Point Community Center & Library. The school is the member school of NSW Federation of Community Language Schools and member school of Australian Chinese Language Schools Association. The founder Mr. Jingfan Zhang is a well known Chinese writer and founding Chairman of Australian Chinese Language Schools Association. He is also the chairman of Chinese Writers Association of NSW. The school has near about 300 students and more than 23 staffs. The main course is Chinese language(Madarin) and the other Chinese culture courses include drawing, dancing, Chinese Kung-Fu,Taichi for adults, etc. We can also open new courses according to our community needs. We use public school's facilities including multi-media equipments for teaching.

Our school is non-political, non-religious and non-profit, the aim is to promote Chinese language and culture to contribute multi-culture of Australia.

All teachers of our school have relevant qualification and experience.The management is well and strict, and teaching quality is excellent. Our school's reputation is well known in local Chinese community. Our students won so many awards, such as 2nd award of 2013 World Language Perfect Competition which had 220,000 competitors;1st prize in speech competition of International Chinese Culture Competition; 1st ,2nd ,3rd awards of world wide Chinese composition competition; Minister(DET) Awards of NSW ; highest level certificate of HSK test ( world wide standard Chinese test ) ; gold, silver and bronze awards in international Chinese Kung-Fu competitions; gold, silver and bronze awards of singing competition of Sydney Chinese schools, most high distinction results in Chinese knowledge competition among schools of NSW, silver award in ' I Got Talent' competition of Australia.

Our students have oppotunities to join various activities such as writing competition, reciting competition, performance, excursion, cultural education camp to China,etc.

Our school needs to develop stronger and welcome more non-Chinese background students from main stream society to join us. For course details, please check Programs.

Our school is a registered Creative Kids Courses Provider and Active Kids Courses Provider,so we can accept Creative Kids Voucher and Active Kids Voucher.

 
 
 

The first day of term 1 of 2024 willbe 3 Feb for Granville campus and 3 Feb for Saturday classes of Wentworth Point campus, 5 Feb. for Monday classes of WWP campous, 6 Feb. for Tuesday classes of WWP campus. For more details, please check the school calendar.

 

Our school will start term 1 of 2023 on 4 Feb 2023 in both of Granville campus and Wentworth Point campus. Please check our updated timetable.

 

Our school will completely resume face to face classes in 2021. The term1 of 2021will commence on 30Jan. 2021 t.New students can apply for erolment by download and fill the erolment form to send it to us before 20/01/2021. If no pre-erolment, you may have to wait for vancancy. The existing students should fill confirmation enrolment form to provide to us before 31/12/2020.

Our school will re-start face to face classes in term3 of 2020. The first day in Granville campus will be 25 July Saturday; The first day in Wentworth Point campus will be 24 July Friday. We welcom old students to return on time and new students to enrol now.

 

.Due to the situation that coronavirus cases happened in China, our school decide to postpone one week starting the new term.The1st day in Granville campus will be 8 Feb. The 1st dya in Wentworth Point Campus will be 7Feb.but we can accept new enrolment on site one week earlier.we require all students, parents and teachers who came from China recently do not come to our school in two weeks since the arriving date. The students and parents who did not travelled to China but have fever, also do not come to our school until they have recovered.

 

Our winter camp to Guangzhou of China will be 28 Dec. 2019 to 6 Jan. 2020.

 

Our Granville campus will commence 1st term on 2 Feb.2019. Wentworth Point will commence 1st term on 1 Feb. 2019.

 

The annual ceremony will be held on 16 Dec. 2017 in The Hall of our school.

 

Our Student Xuetao Zhang won 2nd position in Language Perfect World Championship2013 among 225,000 competitors from around the world.

 

In the Chinese reciting competition Australia wide 2013, our school won 3rd award in 13-15 years group match, 2nd award in 10-12 years presonal match and 2nd award in 13-15 personal match. Congtalulations to our students, teachers and parents!
