Dear students, parents & teachers,

We have the following matters need to report to you:

• Our school has been presented Outstanding Organization Award by Sydney HSK Centre, because many of our students got excellent results in their HSK or YCT test last year. We encourage more students to join these test this year and get better results.

• Our school won 3 rd prize in 13-15 years group of Chinese Reciting Competition Australia 2013. Our students George Lu and Ellie Zheng won 2 nd awards separately in 10-12 years and 13-15 years personal reciting competition. We thank the parents who supported their children and the teachers who trained our students. We hope more students to join this competition next year.

• We successfully organized speech competition in our school last year. We are going to organize Chinese speak competition this year. The content will cover the lessons students learned and basic communication language and some knowledge about Chinese culture. 1 st prize will be awarded $30 2 nd prize $20, 3 rd prize $20 or separately in same value gifts. The final competition date will be 3 Aug. We hope parents to donate money or gifts for this competition. All donation will be strictly used for this competition

• Overseas Chinese Affair Office of Chinese Central Government will organize 2013 Sydney Chinese Culture School Holiday Program, including many subjects. Students between 7 years to 20 years old can apply to join the program, The date will be from 22 Sep to 02 Oct. Cost is $90. We encourage our students to join this program. Please download application form from www.scs.org.au and send completed form to: info@scs.org.au . We will email detailed information to you.
