Dear students, parents, and teachers,

In two more weeks, our schooling year will be ended. We thank you for accompanying us and for your support. We overcame the difficulties together and persisted in our goals. Our teachers are very hard in their job, from no experience with online teaching to gradually familiar with it, they spent a lot of effort. They need to spend more time and effort to prepare online class than face to face class. Some teachers have to pause their work without any complaint due to fewer enrolments under the epidemic situation. Generally, our teachers did their job very well and many parents gave them very good comments for their wonderful online teaching. We welcome parents’ further ideas and suggestions to enable us to improve our services.

It looks the epidemic situation is very slight and we believe everything will be back to normal next year. We hope all of our existing students can return to our school. We will do some reform on our management and improve our teaching to meet the change of post-epidemic time, and reward students and parents with our double effort.

According to the government’s policies of Covid-19 control, we are not going to hold a school-wide annual concluding ceremony as in past years, but arrange all Chinese classes to have a one-hour parents meeting and class party at the last class. The details will be sent to the class Wechat group. The drawing classes and Kung-Fu class will have normal class only but no party as the students are normally also in Chinese class. The dancing class is different, a particular party has been organized for the class (refer to class Wechat).

The Department of Education of NSW paused to present Minister Award this year because of Covid-19 so that our school also will not present 3 levels of awards but only Insist on Studying Award will be presented to all of our existing students.

Because of the uncertain epidemic situation, we find it hard to predict the enrolment amount for next year and hard to locate a suitable amount of teachers. We require students to enrol in advance before commencement of 1st term 2021(before 25 Jan. 2021), If a student does not enrol in advance, he/she has to wait for our notice when we prepare the class ready. We hope to get your understanding and cooperation

The last classes in the Granville campus are on 12 & 13 December. The last classes in Wentworth Point are on 12(Saturday.) & 14(Monday) December.

The first schooling day next year is 30 Jan. 2021 in both of our two campuses.

Wish all of you to have a healthy and happy Christmas and New Year, and enjoyable school vacation.
