Dear students, parents & teachers,

Today, we received a joint notice from the premier and the minister of Health NSW on the tightening of epidemic restrictions forwarded by the NSW Department of Education (see the attachment for the original text and translation). Our school has the last class this weekend in this semester. According to this notice,
we all teachers, students and parents who enter the school are required to wear masks (students and parents should prepare their own masks), consciously maintain a communication distance, and wash and disinfect their hands frequently.

• The first day of the next semester at the Granville campus is Saturday, July 17; the first day of Monday classes on the Wentworth Point campus is July 12, and the first day of Saturday classes on WWP campus is July 17th. If there are any changes due to the impact of the epidemic, we will notify in advance. Parents please pay attention.

• The students in the junior dance class of our school participated in the performance of the Multicultural Festival funded by the NSW Ministry of Multicultural Affairs. This was their first performance outside of school. The children demonstrated the spirit of hard work and overcoming tension. The performance was very success.(Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MD9WO6wCbLA) The students of the senior dance class participated in the performance of the annual dinner of the NSW Federation of Community Language School.Only four of the more than 200 ethnic language schools in the state were selected to participate in the performance. It is very rare. Our students performed well and won admires from organizer and the audience. The parents, both in junior and senior dance classes, are actively cooperating, spending money to buy costumes, spending time to urge their children to step up rehearsals, driving to send and pick up kids, giving them makeup, etc. Thank parents for their dedication!

• Our school’s holiday math online class is scheduled to start next Monday, June 28. Some students have already enrolled, please make payment if you have not paid yet; we need more students to form class. Interested parties are welcome to enroll as soon as possible.

• The materials for the Chinese recitation competition have been sent to everyone. Those who are interested in registering please register as soon as possible and use the holiday to practice.

We wish you all a happy holiday!
