Dear students, parents & teachers,

Our school had a good start this year. There were a lot of enrolled students, but the epidemic situation repeated. Since the third semester, we had to suspend physical classes and switch to online classes. Some students temporarily stopped learning because they were unwilling to take online classes. This is a loss for them because Chinese learning needs to be continuous, and interruption of learning will lead to forgetting. We appreciate those students who insist on attending classes. All students who insist on studying throughout the year can get an Certificate of Participation issued by the Ministry of Education of NSW, and students can submit it to mainstream schools as an off-campus learning record.

The last week of this semester will be on December 11th and 12th, and individual classes will end on December 13th. Our school plans to organize an outdoor picnic activity and present Certificate of Participation to students. All teachers, students and parents (regardless of whether they have online classes later and regardless they are from which campus) are welcome to come. , The time is from 11:00am-1:00pm on 19 December Sunday, at the BBQ area beside of heritage brick factory (corner brickwork drive & Benedict Court Holroyd). Please every family brings some barbecued meat or cooked food to share with other families. The school also will prepare some. Students, parents and teachers are welcome to report on their performances and have fun together. Please park your car at the free public car park and walk about 3 minutes to the site.

There should be no problem returning to the physical classes next year. The first day of schooling in Granville campus is 5 February, and the first day of the Wentworth Point campus is 31 January. The new class timetable has been uploaded to the school website: www.sydelitecs.com.au, welcome inquires.
