Dear students, parents & teachers,

Happy Chinese New Year! The epidemic has not completely disappeared this year, but the government has decided not to close the city, and schools can resume physical classes, including community language schools. Our school will start on February 5 this Saturday. In order to take care of the needs of the students as much as possible, we conducted an investigation in advance and decided to maintain online classes for some classes in Granville campus, including Class 5 of Year 1 (issued Chinese Book 2 and Pinyin / Teacher Ying ZHOU), and Class 14 of Year 2 (not change book yet/ Teacher Jinou WANG). Class 12 of Year 2(Issue Chinese Book Volume 4 /Teacher Zheng YANG), Class 1 of Year3(Issue Chinese Volume 5/Teacher Hao JIN), Class 15 of Year 2 (Issue Chinese Book Volume 4 / Teacher Chunzhou CHEN), Class 6 of Year 4 (issue Chinese Book Volume 7 / Teacher Juan LIU), Sunday Chinese Class 10 (Teacher Zheng YANG); The classes in physical face to face include: Kindergarten Class (new class, issue Kindy Chinese 1-2/Teacher Yu WANG), Class 3 of Year 1(new class, issued Chinese Book volume 1 / Teacher Lanping ZHANG), Class 2 of Year 1(Not change book yet/ Teacher Haojie LI), Class 17 of Year 2 (Not change book yet/ Teacher Ying SHI), Dance class (teacher Annie), Chinese Kun-Fu class (Teacher Peter WU), Adult Tai Chi class (Teacher Huiping Ling). There are still two Chinese classes, no one has indicated that they will come back to the class, and they will not be open for the time being. We will decide when there are enrollments. The three teachers in the painting classes have not been vaccinated against the epidemic. According to the regulations, they are temporarily unable to teach the class. After finding a suitable teacher, then we will start the painting class later. Considering that some students live far away from the school and are prone to be late, starting from this year, the start time of the first morning class in the Granville campus has been changed to 9:30am, and the end of school has been delayed by half an hour to 12:00pm.

The students who attended the kindergarten class last year, if they insisted on taking online classes, they can be promoted to the new Year 1 class. Those who have interrupted their studies without online classes can return to the new kindergarten class or be promoted to the new Year 1 class according to their own wishes and teacher evaluation.

The all classes in Wentworth Point campus will resume physical classes.

Students who have not yet paid tuition fees for online classes should transfer money online in advance, and be sure to clearly write the student's English name or Chinese pinyin name. Students who take physical classes can come to the school to pay the fee, or they can transfer electronically in advance. According to the latest regulations of the Department of Education, students over the age of 12 must wear masks in school, and students under the age of 12 are encouraged to wear masks. Adults, including teachers, parents, and visitors, must show proof of two doses of vaccination, wear masks and scan the code when entering the campus. For the sake of simplicity, parents are requested not to enter the campus and pick up their children at the school gate.
