Dear students, parents, and teachers:

The third semester of this year is about to end. We have the following matters to inform you:

• Our school plans to organize the Chinese Proficiency Test again. Last year, many students achieved very good test results. This year, they can take a higher level test. The test date has been set for November 23 at the Granville campus. Since the test center stipulates that there must be 30 people registered before setting up a test site, there are not enough people in Wentworth Point to set up a test site. Participants from this campus can only take the test at the Granville campus. The registration deadline is October 17, and the registration fee will be received. Only registered but not paid will not be counted. The registration fee standard is: Early Childhood Chinese Proficiency Test (YCT) Level 1-3: $20, Level 4: $30; General Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Level 1-2: $35; Level 3-4: $55, Level 5-6: $75. This is the fee charged by the Sydney HSK Test Center. Our school does not charge any fees and provides free services. We look forward to students' active registration and parents' strong support!

• This year, our school's students who won the Minister of Education Award are Yixuan(Osborn) CHEN and Sydney NG from Granville campus, and Lucas HU from Wentworth Point campus. Congratulations to them! We hope other students will follow their example and strive to win the award next year. Although there are few places, everyone has a fair chance as long as they work hard enough in terms of grades, discipline and active participation in class and school activities.

• Our school has recently had several incidents of students not abiding by school rules, including graffiti on classroom walls, tampering with public school items, and entering the hall early before the alarm is lifted, which has caused complaints from the public school. This may lead to the school banning us from using the classrooms, which is a very serious problem. Our teachers have repeatedly emphasized discipline in class, but there are still students who do not obey. We hope that parents will warn their children to strictly abide by school discipline. For students who seriously violate school discipline, our school has the right to persuade them to withdraw.

•Our school organized an exclusion at Fern Valley Farm on September 15. Thanks to the support of parents and teachers, more than 30 people from multiple families participated in this activity. Everyone learned about farm management knowledge, fed cows, watched waterfalls, picked oranges, and had a happy day.

• Our school recently sent a group email to parents to inform you Painting Competition and Short Film Competition organized by of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools. Please encourage your children to participate. There are certificates and prizes waiting. The deadline is October 21, but our school still needs to prepare the registration information and send the works to the organizer's office. Our school's deadline has to be advanced two days to October 19, which is the first Saturday of the fourth semester. Students can work hard on their creations during the holidays. It would be even better if they can hand them in to us before the holidays.
